Sophia’s delivers the best service in downtown Spartanburg. Leadership implements a pooled-tip system so every server and assistant is attentive and ready to help. The food is phenomenal. Owners Brian and Steve have truly captured something rare — simple in concept, impressive in execution. 😎🌅

I’m really disappointed in our service overall. We had Tiana C as our server and from the very beginning from inquiring on wine suggestions to sharing a concern regarding the way one of our dishes was prepared to asking for dessert.. she didn’t offer a solution, didn’t offer recommendations and had the audacity to roll her eyes. Even with that, she was still given a generous tip. The food may be delicious but the service alone has made us not want to come back. Please train your staff to act better. If we’re coming in to pay this much, we expect the service to be outstanding.

Sophia’s has been a favorite of ours for the last few years. Unfortunately our last experience did not live up to our expectations. The food was tasty, as always, but the service was not up to par and not at all what we’ve come to expect from Sophia’s. We felt rushed through dinner and our waiter was not very friendly. He did not refill our water and did not come to check on us after our dinner was served. He actually made the experience unpleasant. We hope that the next time we dine at Sophia's we will enjoy the attentive and friendly hospitality we have come to expect. Service really does make a difference!
